Description
I was born in 1985 and only discovered the joys of mountain hiking later in life. It wasn’t until I went on holiday in the Pyrenees in 2013 that my love for the great
outdoors, nature, and solitude was born. My wife, Patrícia, and I immediately realized that we didn’t want to spend the rest of our lives in Portugal.
After hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc in 2014, we decided to try our luck in the Alps and moved to Monthey (Switzerland) for three years. Finally, we found our piece of paradise in Troistorrents. In 2015, I began to consider the possibility of hiking one hundred summits over 3,000 meters high, only in the Valais canton, without using any technical alpine gear. Soon, I had completed each route as if it were a simple hike. In this book, I intend to present these routes to you so you can also reach new heights!
This book is the result of several hundred hours of research on all aspects of each hike, including the itinerary and degree of difficulty, as well as a lot of time spent in the mountains (pure happiness!).
